I'm a User Experience Designer and Researcher working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Most recently, I've designed compelling mobile experiences as a freelance UX Designer.
Growing up in San Francisco, my high school classmates crowned me "The Next Bill Gates," probably because I was a huge computer nerd (though by normal nerd standards, I think I was fairly tame). At UC San Diego, I gave in to my nerdiness (despite many attempts at being a liberal arts person) and earned a B.S. in Cognitive Science, specializing in HCI, balancing my love of people and my passion for technology. My last years in the program had design on my brain, so I shipped off to Carnegie Mellon, where I earned a Master's of Human-Computer Interaction and learned the true meaning of having seasons.
Outside of UX Design, I enjoy knitting and baking, and I like to stay up to date on current events via the blogosphere.
